Steps

Get compliance approval ;)
- Find desired episode from podcast library
- Members, log in to access documents
- Non-members, purchase episode to access documents
- Download all pieces (.mp3, transcript, compliance certificate, email doc, social media doc) and submit to compliance
- Receive compliance approval. Let us know if you have any trouble with compliance – we can usually help!
- Find desired episode from podcast library

Add unique page onto your website
- Title: Use episode title
- Subtitle: Use episode email subject line (in email doc you downloaded)

Add podcast .mp3
Option 1: upload the .mp3 file to your website (not recommended – large files slow down your website which is bad for user experience.)
Option 2 (recommended): If your website has a tool to add an audio link to stream, great! Use that and plug in the episode .mp3 link.
If not, you can search for audio streaming code for your desired player. Here’s some simple code you can use:

Add podcast description
Open the email doc you downloaded, and find the ‘consumer promo.’ Use that as your podcast description on your page. Also add the bullet points as ‘Key Takeaways’ from this episode.

Add image(s)
Open the social media doc you downloaded, and save the desired images – guest image, quote of the week, whatever you want. Upload the images to your website. Then on your website post you are working on, ‘add media’, select the desired image, and place in desired spot on your post.

Add CTA (Call-To-Action)
The whole point of marketing is to connect with people! Give your prospects something to do, like ‘schedule a consultation’ or ’email your questions.’ You want to have them take an action or at least fill out a form so you are capturing their information for future marketing.

Publish & tweak
Publish your page, review the layout, make any tweaks, and you’re done!
To be on the safe side, take a screenshot of this page and submit this to compliance as well. Definitely do this if you added your own words or content to this page that wasn’t already approved.

Share, share, share!
Send out an email or two to your clients, prospects, any marketing lists you may have! Tell them about this great information you are offering. Use the ’email doc’ you downloaded for language, suggested subject line, etc.
Schedule out some social media posts! Use the ‘social media doc’ you downloaded for all the pre-written posts and graphics your heart desires.
Make sure to link all promotions to the page on your website you created!

Review results & follow up
If you have Google Analytics or some other resource hooked up to your website, review page visits. Consider tweaking your messaging, amount of email/social media promotions, or even adding another episode to your website!
Make some calls to people you know who would specifically benefit from the episode. Open the ’email promo’ doc you downloaded, and review the ‘approach, ask, access’ notes. This will give you an idea of who fits this episodes’ specific audience, as well as a question to ask those people that will help you get an appointment.
