Here are some helpful times on how to join an online webinar, including those from the Power Session LIVE series by Real Wealth®.
Steps
-
Find your invitation
If you are a member, you have received an email with your unique link that will allow you to join for free. Be sure to check any email that we may have on file for you, and double check your spam/junk folder. If you’re still not seeing it, contact our team at info@realwealthmarketing.com, and we’ll help you get your invitation.
If you are not a member, you may still have received an email invitation. There will be a link to pay for your ticket. If you don’t have your email invitation – no worries! You can find the webinar you are trying to join in our webinar library. Click into the webinar, then look for the link to buy your ticket.
-
Register
If you are a member, simply click on the link in your email invitation, and you will be automatically registered. You will receive an email confirmation within a few minutes – always remember to check your spam/junk folder!
If you are not a member, click on the registration link, then you will be brought to a landing page with the webinar details. Scroll down, and select your desired option (replay only, live only, or both). Then continue to fill out the rest of the form & submit. You will receive an email confirmation within a few minutes – always remember to check your spam/junk folder!
-
Join live
Once you find your confirmation email, you will have your unique join link to join the live session. At the time of the scheduled webinar, click your join link. There will be a popup to ‘run’ GoToWebinar – go ahead and click ‘Open GoTo Opener’. It may take a moment to load, then you may see it download in the bottom left corner of your screen. You don’t need to click that – you should just wait to see a prompt in a moment – click ‘join’. Let the software load up, and you’re in!
If nothing downloads after you click your join link, it is probably because you have a popup blocker enabled. Go to the settings menu of your browser, and disable popups. Try again, and it now should work. (Remember to re-block popups after you’re in the session!)
If nothing pops up after you download the software, go ahead and click on the download in the bottom left of your web browser – try clicking ‘run’ again. If still nothing pops up, it’s probably because you have something ‘cached’ that’s not allowing the new software to run. So go to the settings of your browser:
- History
- All history
- Clear browsing data
- Verify that ‘cached images and files’ is checked
- Verify that the time range selected is ‘all time’
- Clear data
Now try going through the steps again. If it still doesn’t work, do the same steps to clear your cache, except this time, go to ‘advanced’ and check everything and clear again. Please note that this will clear any saved passwords on your browser. However, you can always reset your password with each site’s ‘forgot password’ link 🙂

Audio options
Once you have joined the webinar on your computer, you can select ‘computer audio‘ to hear the audio of the session. If you can’t hear, turn the volume up on your laptop, and make sure the speakers selected on your audio panel are the speakers you are currently using.
You can also switch to phone audio. Once you select that button, it will provide you with the dial in number, access code, and your audio pin.
- Dial the number
- Pause until prompted
- Dial the access code
- Press #
- Pause until prompted
- Dial audio pin
- Press #
- Wait a moment for it to connect, and you should be in!
FYI: The audio pin is optional. If you don’t enter it, you will still be able to join. If you do, it will let the system know that you are the same person on the phone as you are on your computer – that way, you can use your webinar panel to mute/unmute yourself and other tools.
If you’re experiencing feedback, it may be because you dialed in, but didn’t enter audio pin, and have ‘computer audio’ selected on your webinar panel. That means that each device is receiving it’s own audio for the session. Either enter your audio pin on your phone to connect your devices, or hang up your phone and just use your computer for audio.
