Mark Reed is the Chief Development Officer at Give Kids The World Village. Give Kids The World Village is an 84-acre, nonprofit resort in Central Florida that provides weeklong, cost-free vacations to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
Mark’s extensive leadership background includes over 32 years of management and fund development experience.
Throughout his career, Mark has served as president and chief executive officer with nonprofit organizations in addition to public and private businesses. This includes President and CEO of Make-A- Wish Foundation® Iowa; President and CEO of Special Olympics Iowa; President of Reed Consulting Group, LLC; Executive Director of The Catholic Foundation of Southwest Iowa; and Chief Development Officer of Give Kids The World.
Mark is a Certified Fund Raising Executive and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Drake University.
