Don Chamberlin

Don Chamberlin is a veteran financial advisor and the president and CEO of The Chamberlin Group, a St. Louis-based holistic financial advisory firm that offers tax preparation, financial planning and wealth management services. A Certified Financial Educator™ (CFEd™), Chamberlin has devoted 29 years to helping area residents learn about and plan for a comfortable retirement. He founded The Chamberlin Group in 2002 with the ultimate goal of assisting families who wish to preserve their legacy for themselves and their family rather than Uncle Sam.

The Chamberlin Group provides expert services to accommodate the unique and holistic financial needs of its clients. Services include tax preparation and a range of planning options for income, estate, tax, insurance, Medicare and retirement, and the company serves as a “one stop shop” to assist St. Louisans with preparing for their complete financial future. Chamberlin believes each client should be treated like family, and the firm is not only family-oriented, but family-run: Chamberlin is joined in the firm by his son, DC, an investment advisor, and sister-in-law, Sarah, the firm’s marketing manager. DC Chamberlin is an Accredited Wealth Management AdvisorSM (AWMA®) and works with the firm’s clients to manage their investable assets.

Chamberlin is passionate about sharing his financial knowledge and insight with his community, and has conducted more than 500 educational workshops over the past ten years. His topics are as varied as tax reform, estate preservation and asset protection, and can be as simple as organizing your important papers and reducing expenses.
Chamberlin is a member of Ed Slott’s Master Elite IRA Advisor GroupSM, an influential organization of financial professionals who are committed to the study and mastery of IRA planning. Through this organization, Chamberlin has participated in numerous training workshops on individual retirement accounts and is mentored by nationally acclaimed IRA expert, Ed Slott.

Chamberlin is also a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals and the Financial Planning Association. He a member of the Million Dollar Round Table’s (MDRT) elite Top of the Table. MDRT is a premier association of financial professionals where members are recognized for their outstanding professionalism, industry knowledge and professional success.

Since 2011, Chamberlin has also served as a principal of the Clarity 2 Prosperity Mastermind Group, an organization dedicated to training and educating financial advisors on holistic business practices. With Clarity 2 Prosperity, he maintains the role of coach and model office, and has received a number of accolades for his services in the industry.

Chamberlin is a member of the Kirkwood/Des Peres Chamber of Commerce, the Better Business Bureau and is a guardian for the St. Louis Honor Flight, an organization dedicated to fulfilling the dreams of WWII veterans. He has been married to Susie (Shipman) Chamberlin for 30 years. They both love their children, dogs and are huge fans of the St. Louis Cardinals.
